Lost Cities

Gameplay and Instructions

1. Objective: Score the most points by successfully embarking on expeditions.
2. Setup: Each player receives a hand of eight cards, and the remaining deck is placed in the center.
3. Turn Structure: On a player's turn, they must:
   • Play one card either starting or continuing an expedition.
   • Draw a card from the deck or the discard piles.
4. Playing Cards: Cards are placed in ascending order under the matching expedition.
5. Investment Cards: Playing these can double or triple the value of your expedition, but if unsuccessful, these can increase penalties.
6. End of Game: The game ends when the draw deck is empty. Points are calculated based on cards played in expeditions.
7. Scoring: Calculate the total score by adding points from successful expeditions and applying penalties for unsuccessful ones.
